At Word and Life Church, we believe prayer is the heartbeat of our faith and community. We gather daily, monthly, and in times of fasting to seek God’s presence, guidance, and power together.

On the first Saturday of every month, we come together for a powerful time of corporate prayer.

Fasting and Prayer Week
During the last week of each month, we dedicate time to fasting and prayer. Everyone is encouraged to fast at a time and in a way that suits them best as we seek God together in unity.
A youth ministry without any limitation. We encourage our teens to be themselves, not to limit or disqualify themselves from serving our amazing God. We help our teens find their true identity in Christ, and we have fun while doing it—fun, games and entertainment in a safe environment.
To share the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with all cultures. We help them to GROW in their relationship with God, CONNECT with others as well as to learn how to SERVE in God’s kingdom and to SHARE the Gospel. We are here to serve each teenager and meet their needs. Friday’s are crowd focused with socializing and weekdays are more group and individual focused.
Together we move mountains!
We also offer our teens the following.
– Weekly Connect groups in various areas around Boksburg
– On Fridays from 18:00-19:00 we socialize. From 19:00 -21:00 its praise and worship as well as sharing the Word.
– On Sundays there are various church services, especially the evening Recharge and Herlaai services, where the focus is on the younger generation.
Life Ladies is a dynamic and vibrant meeting place for our Ladies in the Church and their friends to celebrate life and have a desire to serve God and encourage each other.
Memory Panayi along with her team makes this event exciting at various intervals during the year. We worship together, spend time in the Word of God and inspire each other, just live life together.

Apart from a relationship with God, one of our greatest needs as human beings is to have meaningful relationships with others. Church life—and Christianity as a whole—is so much more than just attending Sunday services. In Word and Life, people are primarily cared for and discipled through small, informal groups where friendships and relationships can grow and thrive.
